Pepper just watching me walk in my house to get my steps in. It was too hot to walk outside. Then the rains came, and now the bugs are out. I feel like she's grading my form.

Cinnamon suffered another round of Bloat today, and her stomach flipped again. Her previous gatroplecy failed. At her age, I couldn't keep doing this to her. I stayed with her as she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was probably one of the best dogs I ever had. I'm going to miss her very much.

This is my baby, Cinnamon. She had emergency surgery on Sunday for bloat. Her stomach filled with gas and flipped over. It was a terrifying experience. This picture was taken Thursday when I finally got to bring her home, hopefully for good. 🧵

Pepper seems to enjoy her Christmas present. She's already used both scratching posts and played with the balls. I put it up while Cinnamon is out getting a bath. This way, Pepper can get used to it without any distractions.

What you can't tell is that Cinnamon is wagging her tail. She really doesn't seem to care that Pepper is on her bed.

Saw this pretty rainbow on my way to my car from school/work today.

I've had Pepper for 4 mo. Today she tried to get in the shower w/me. If the shower wasn't running, she would have come in. As it was, she only came past the liner once. She did meow 2x. She never meows. Just meers and purrs. Pep is turning into a bit of a velcro kitty.

Pepper: It's my bed now.

I'm not letting this visitor in. It is alive. Just now found it. If it's still there in the morning, I'll call critter control.

The cat that WILL sleep on the nice, comfy dog bed. And the dog that won't. BTW, Cinnamon, the dog, chose not to sleep on it before Pepper, the cat, came to live with us. Silly dog.
