I liked the chapter which talks about how juries, lawyers, judges evaluate victim/survivors' credibility and the factors they use to decide how believable a survivor's story is, like whether the victim/survivor knew the prep or not. It speaks to the systemic nature of rape culture.

the first chapter was thick, hard to decipher the language. Yes, too academic, and I almost quit. But the following chapters have been more engaging. As they review all these high profile cases, like Cosby and Weinstein and show how the media portrays them. It's insightful...

It's a dumb bill and won't do anything to stop hate crimes. Criminalizing the use of certain symbols like the swastika is a gift to law enforcement to harass and shut down anyone they disagree with. www.cbc.ca/news/politic...
