I'm not sure there's a feeling quite like your daughter choosing your own books to take to a restaurant!

Despite hearing them 100x, they still love them ("apart from the bit where I stamp my feet and shout quite loud, mummy"..sorry Lottie, was kinda true though...!)

World Book Day 25 coincided with @tinytreebooks.bsky.social publication day, where I visited 4 schools armed with 300 activity sheets, 200 bookmarks and 50 books. The children, age 2-5, were amazing! They sat and listened and asked some of the most thoughtful and considered questions I've ever had!

Let's talk about author events...📚

So this is one of the most nerve-wracking, but equally the most rewarding parts of being a children's author.

Events aren't easy and they can take you out of your comfort zone. For me, I need to take a day off work, arrange childcare, and spend time planning.

Benji and Lottie can't contain their excitement about becoming big siblings. They dream of all the adventures they'll have from building rockets to climbing trees. However, when the long-awaited day finally arrives, things take an unexpected turn.

Will they ever get to play with their siblings?
