I've also been paying on these over 7 years and my payoff balance is about what I started at. 7 years of making payments and I'm still where I started. This is predatory.
Gathering my documents for my taxes and looking at my 1098-Es I pay over $235/mo in INTEREST for my student loans. Imagine if the government stopped charging interest???
