That spin has always irked me. At 59 I left full-time job and moved out of state with spouse (63) to assist aging parents. Continued working remotely part-time, without benefits. ONLY possible due to ACA/subsidies. Alternative: Keep working and let them fend for themselves?

My spouse and I (retired, on either side of 70, with healthy bank account) do rice or pasta iced cauliflower with legumes at least once/weekly. He adds interesting spice combos and raisins or veggies or something. It’s one of our favorite meals :-)
