I think even just acknowledging that it exists is a step... as teachers we need to first look at how we feel about these issues. It's easy to bury our heads in the sand.I feel there's a huge amount of cognitive dissonance around the climate crisis which we need to address before supporting students.

I've only received training that I've sought out myself. To be fair there are a lot of summer courses in this area, but probably preaching to the converted. @greenschoolsire.bsky.social have run great courses for years.

I think it's so far from top of priority lists that it didn't get a look in, unless there's a leader with specific interest within the school..

Laura, primary interested in outdoor learning, sustainability and all things green.
I'd say ESD is fairly hit and miss and teacher dependant in my experience..
