There is one big difference that wasn't built in to those numbers: the new Transit schedule took a tonne of turning bus traffic out of the intersection, which created relief of between 30 & 1 min 30 seconds on average trips in a few directio s just as the pedestrian crossings added a bit of time. :)

I can’t get over this take, man. When the president threatens to unleash ICE and withdraw federal funding on 8 million people, if the mayor elect can head that off without giving up anything tangible, that is a W for his constituents no matter how small. That’s his job - to do politics.
