Just got this in a response to my email to Andy Kim to vote no. Sounds like he’s supporting it.

While I am optimistic about a future with cryptocurrencies, and I believe that we should encourage innovation, I also understand we must ensure there are strong consumer protections. Moreover, we are living through a moment of global unpredictability – given my national security background, I have deep concerns about how cryptocurrencies might be used in the illicit financing of terrorism or money laundering. These goals are not mutually exclusive. As you know, the Senate is debating the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stable Coins (GENIUS) Act. While I believe this legislation is a step in the right direction to balance successful innovation with appropriate regulations that prioritize consumer protections and illicit finance/national security safeguards, I believe more must be done. I look forward to continuing to work on these important issues. The crypto industry has great potential for growth, but it is important we set guardrails to protect hard working Americans’ investments.”
