Love seeing this Eagle family on the property line. This Eagle pair routinely uses the area around our farm to hunt, train, and communicate with each other. Low fly-by’s are frequent.

Perhaps we should all be watching Call the Midwife, to see how very far we've come, and how embarrassing some behaviors are in retrospect. If nuns can show kindness and compassion, why can't we all?

It feels appropriate to start afresh, in January. Enjoying brisk January days of sunshine. Here, in the PNW, we have Mt. Tahoma/Rainier looming in the background, looking a bit miffed to take second fiddle to this blooming Hamamelis 'Diane', a glorious specimen in winter, adding needed color.
