33, Meanjin, Queer in several directions. A rambling beast, here for art more than anything else. I block large profiles that try to follow me unless I know you.
I was really enjoying it but the APM situation is probably just not sustainable for me as is...guess I'll try picking other classes

We're back at the ceramic studio figuring out textureing and shading with glazes again boys, girls, buddies and beasts. Pray for my dumb ass.

Fuck it... Old cat pictures. A bunch of Jolene, only a couple of Stormy because I almost always took pictures of him sitting on my chest and my face is in almost all of them.

Brings you a little frog from Wikipedia. It won't fix anything, but, at least there is a frog. 💚

Pecking at this wip again.... I get about this far in detailing paintings and then sort of feel a little lost. Not too sure where to go from here, but it doesn't feel finished.

Gardening.... It took me a long road of researching and mooning after the idea of it, but I finally feel comfortable and confident with keeping a variety of houseplants.... There's still always more to learn though

Art noveau! I love the fascination with different media, the integration of new ideas, the infatuation with the natural world and the general sense of ornate harmony.

Staring at this (this is writing and drawing and gardening for me. Basically anything I do actually.)

There are more things than just dragons in my setting but tbh there's lots of dragons and I default to doing development for them bc I just think they're Neat. Here's a concept sketch for one of the sapient unicorn races though, they eat bones, herd horses and hunt necromancy using mammoths.

There are also drakes, a medium sized (monitor lizard to caiman range mostly) species of natural, non-inherently magical sapients who are the direct ancestors technically bc the godcreature was a runaway mutant of their species, but civilisation hasn't figured that out yet.

Preliminary concept sketches for a couple characters from the queer drgn memoirs situation (they're love interests with tragic outcomes). First one is a repressed af pretty boy prince(... ess?) from a nearby empire, the other two are brother and sister of a tightly knit nomadic strain... Just fun

Thoughts of events in the timeline of said potential book/books idea (at the moment I'm just writing snippets but I'm thinking they're memoir-inspired and this character has a long life) and I've cornered myself into having to figure out how a dragon might wrap a saree. I haven't gotten very far.

Figuring out expressions for my funny little cowardly colour changing drakes (generally adults range in size between biggish monitor lizard and largish dog, highly grabbable, full of opinions). This one is female, males like to wear fancy patterns.

I have very tiny new friends and messy worldbuilding notes, though I'm so dissociated that every experience feels like soap bubbles drifting and bumping into each other atop a film of water.
