They do not need to breed in captivity. Elephants bred in captivity is for profit. These animals wind up abused in training as they have to be tamed. It’s called “crushing”. Google it.

What do you think this job is? Elephants are mistreated plenty outside the US. I was in Thailand recently for two months. So many working elephants. Fake rescues, monastery elephants, elephants for hire for events. Humans need to stop breeding them & leave them alone.

They’re so beautiful, it was a surprise to watch sea turtles chomping down on them the first time. Apparently flat back sea turtles love them.
