I saw the MOST AMAZING truck. All the best trucks have airbrushed self-portraits on them and this one is no exception. I doubled checked that I wasn't using the wide-angle for the side view--no, she really has that much going on back there. Look how far she exceeds the parking space...

Cicadas, they are so harmless 😂 Slow, clumsy, apparently defenseless, and die if they fall on their back (which they do, frequently.) I saw this one halfway through its molt and thought it had died--it appeared motionless and I wouldn't be surprised if one got caught on its own skin and expired...

Unreasonably proud of this thing I drew of my Kobold druid's favorite time from the 1st session of our new campaign, partly because it's perfect but also because the 5 minutes I spent drawing it represents a triumph over the brain gremlins telling me to not bother because it wouldn't be any good.

The award for Most Liminal Space on my walk yesterday oddly did not go to one of the big 90's McMansions but instead this humble 70's bungalow with almost no windows and a perfectly conical tree. 😶
A small, two-story single-family detached suburban house. It is a beige/tan color with a prominent garage and not enough windows. The only feature in the front yard is a perfectly conical tree. It feels slightly "off" or wrong, as though it weren't a real home.
