Sometimes I hold back in my writing. I'd think to myself, "are people going to think this is too much_________?" Next year, I'm not going to tame myself. If it's in my head, it's going down on paper.

When I hear people say "it's not that deep", what they're really saying is "I can't (or I don't want to) comprehend, anything that's not on the surface level so therefore I am going to dismiss what you're saying". Just my thoughts.
