I had fun with it! I enjoyed the gameplay, the music, the characters... I had a great time.
I filled my living Pokedex (minus the legendary guys) and just put the controller down.

So now I'm torn between accepting spoilers I'll inevitably see online, and wanting to experience them for myself.

And the chances may be high for disks, but that isn’t the case for cartridge games. Sure, there may be an update or day one patches available, but when you buy a cartridge, you can still play immediately without downloading anything, even if prompted to update.

Nah. There are still sooo many games for you to dip into for content. It doesn’t always have to be what’s new.
It’s always better content when you’re not forcing/faking to like something anyway.
