I started doing SW in 1985-86, then on the side after that; joined COYOTE in '91. My observation: most Americans are so squeamish about sex it's tough to have a mature convo, and the way even liberals conflate all SW with trafficking turns it into a third rail topic—too risky to touch & no upside.
