He understands how to make a long distance shot, for example, but wouldn't understand the formula for how to make the same shot if you asked him to solve it as an equation without explaining what each part means first.

Elhi is incredibly clever & adapts very quickly. He's quick to incorporate new information into what he previously understood as well.
He's bad with graphs, formulas, basically anything that requires specific formal education, but he's intelligent enough to learn if he ever wanted to. #elhiqotd

You're right! In that case my top 4 desires to see as feral souls are the classic Ahriman, Vodoriga, Void Monk (or the super vibrant crescent monk) and lastly but the least likely, Cuchulainn the third boss from Void Ark.

From the start I've been hoping for a behemoth feral soul user I agree that it would be a perfect final fight.
I also am curious if they ever came in contact with voidsent and if voidsent could be used as feral souls.
A sandworm could be cool but lacks the punch of a behemoth.

Elhi wouldn't have seen a mirror until his eighties so he finds hard reflections a bit off putting. Fascinating for what they can reveal, but very unsettling.

Oh wow that's something I never considered! My character too would not have had access to mirrors. He'd have been in his eighties before he actually saw his undistorted reflection!

So he's loosening up, but for a good chunk of the game Elhi'd revert to military relaxed if he wasn't thinking about how he was standing. He was a conscript for 5 years after all.

Elhi has mercy killed before, although it was on the battlefield. So he already understands the concept of ending someone's life to assuage suffering. He thinks that poison in a favorite food is an especially kind way to go. Doesn't make it any less tragic though.

Also in Ascian!Elhi au him and Emet might figure something out. But it would be super toxic and angsty (which. Is kinda the appeal ngl)

Yes. He models his way of teaching after his main Mentor Ljot who was equally patient and relentless. He is a bit relentless though.
He has been teaching the twins fundamentals since HW, he wants them to survive if they lose their main weapons.
He also mentored Lamat'i quite a bit too.

He was put in a situation where he had to kill them himself. And that broke something in him too. Instead of returning to base to report in he limped off, following the draw of the voice he'd been hearing since a child.
Both times he gave up & became a weapon for someone else.

Then the calamity happened and the echo made him experience some pretty awful stuff, despite being continents away. A few days later he was offered conscription. And he just. Agreed. Just gave in.
He spent 5 years as a solider. But just as he was starting to value his comrades

Hmm. Being captured by Garleans and dragged from Golmore, broke something in him. He thought himself completely ruined, & hated that he couldn't bring himself to just kill himself.

There would be a Scion group chat that had off and on chatting between everyone but nothing for Elhi and then suddenly he'd post like a dozen very similar images of scenery somewhere with no explanation. Then nothing for a long time. Then just like. A cat.
