Gulls are rare here, on account of how seriously my crow associates take their territory. This guy didn't stick around long either, but I think this is a pretty neat shot.

Self-smoothing #Xllenialmusing of the night: perhaps folks exactly my age are uniquely positioned to act as Merlinesque advisors to the coming heroes of the younger generation, on account of our long string of highly educational failures and education in ontological warfare.

I could also have included Shadowrun, Neuromancer, V For Vendetta, Transmetropolitan (except fuck that guy), Max Headroom...cyberspace, chaos magic, the punk scene, all of it came together in this end-of-the-world zeitgeist where reality got thin, according to fringe nerd culture.
