Woke up at 2 am and looked at my phone like an utter fool. An hour later I sent this to some friends.
Y'all, idk, this fucking sucks and I'm so fucking sad and mad about it and I'm not even American. Big fucking hugs to everyone directly affected by this. And if y'all wanna scream and cry and give up for a bit, I think that's totally fucking valid. Some people can look at this and start making plans to fight, but if I were in your shoes, I don't know if I would fucking want to. Not after this. I know a lot of y'all are stuck where you are and feel so fucking scared and you have every fucking right to be. This is literally the worst case scenario. I think the worst thing is not only the result, but knowing just how many people saw everything they promised they were going to do, and voted for them anyway. I feel so fucking betrayed by everyone who voted for that dickhead, and they're not even my fucking countrypeople. I know some of y'all may have to fucking live with those people because you have no other options and that fucking sucks even worse. It's so psychologically damaging, knowing someone who is supposed to care about you would choose their own interests/beliefs/ opinions/biases/bigotry over keeping you literally safe from harm (and that's true for everyone, but especially if you're AFAB, LGBTQ+, disabled and/or POC). Just some 3am rage from me to you because as much as I tried to avoid the news, in the end I fucking can't, and I know none of y'all Americans can. This fucking sucks.
