They're long overdue.. They were there in 2010, 2012, and 2013 but not since..

I saw my first show there and haven't missed one since. It's the king of gritty northeast arenas IMO, even after the facelift.

Gimme the Worcester Centrum and its filthy back lot over anything Vegas has to offer

I'm willing to try, since I have two months but it is 3 states away so it's mildly inconvenient. (It's New England though, so they're small)

For the cost of a few highway interchanges, Rhode Island could have this instead.

I don't know exactly when it happened, but the only direct bus service between Providence & Worcester (not counting "tricking" Amtrak into riding the Thruway bus) is the once-per-day, but only Friday-Sunday Peter Pan bus that is the first leg of the Prov-Albany route. It used be 7 days, 2 round trip

I do love the tunnel, and I was happy to see that they actually fixed the lighting a little while back. Sometimes I take the 51 out of Providence and ride home through the tunnel and Lincoln Woods. The tiny stretch on Great Road is definitely the worst part. no shoulder, crappy pavement, speeding

oh yeah you're preaching to the choir here. It's tantalizingly close to many useful things like my town library, Lincoln Mall, Lincoln Woods, and the village centers with their small businesses. Unfortunately everything on that list is at best inconvenient and at worst potentially deadly to access

yeah maybe amazing wasn't the right word. In a vacuum, they are all individually beautiful and nice to ride. The problem is the word "individual." I can get to the Blackstone path in about 5 minutes from my door, but it doesn't go anywhere without having to navigate city streets on both ends

One of my sincerest wishes is for our state to consider our amazing set of bike paths as transportation assets and not just recreational ones, and then connect them to useful destinations other than parking lots.
