RU sure? Your human chameleon looks an awful lot like Robert O’Neill, the leader of the SEAL team that killed Osama, and seems to share a personal motto. (TIL that “Front toward enemy” is stamped on the business end of a Claymore mine so your don’t spray your own guys with shrapnel by mistake.🙀)

Some weisenheimer* at the London Rev of Books dissed Cuomo as “a 67-year-old man with a mug of rich Corinthian leather.” It’d be a shame if a libelous slur like that leaked out into the public discourse in the US. 😲

At the start, he only had to convince one guy that he knew what he was doing. First, whoever hired him to teach math at Dalton (possibly the headmaster, Bill Barr’s father…unclear), later on, the Victoria’s Secret guy, who got it into his head that Ep was a brilliant money manager. Baby steps!

We didn’t really get into that stuff in Unitarian Sunday school tbh. I tend to view the Book of Rev. as a series of whacky rabbit holes that lead us to amazing artworks. Even a genius like Dürer had a hard time visualizing the various beasts with their many heads and horns…

I’m guessing that hearing the original cast album played at least 500X on my sister’s portable record player left an imprint at least an indelible in the hippocampus, as we used to say, as a live performance.
