I have seen this attitude more from tiktokers than anywhere else and I have to wonder if it’s matter of them being would-be influencers, not organizers or activists. They are protecting their brand as online leftists by discouraging mass action.

Tho, re: mingling, I did not see any DSA presence in Philly, but there were a lot of RevComs, a few SAlts, a few PSL. Curious what’s up with that.

Awwww, this is just like our kitties. We have a catsitter come everyday for food, water, litter box, and then a friend of mine comes over a couple times to “work from home” in our office so they can get enough love.

A friend of mine not on bsky who trained to be an audio engineer has pivoted to teaching engineering and doing voice over work for this reason. Of course, now they’re doing AI voiceovers.
