Laura Cunningham, we went to Ash Meadows for the first time last week. Do you know what these green fragments by the south entrance
are? Maybe related to the limestone that makes the (fabulous) blue pond blue?
Greenish flat fragments carpeting a desert hill. Some scattered desert plants between. Blue mountains on the far horizon Closer view of greenish clay-like fragments in previous picture.

I am building a wall and paying for it myself. These borders are overrun with undesirables- specifically, rabbits.
