Tomorrow is the Mississippi Street Fair in Portland, OR! I’ll be located on the east side of Mississippi, 7 booths north of Mason. Vendors will be selling from 10am-8pm! It’s a big one, there will be food and entertainment too!

We have a hawk terrorizing our chickens every day for a week. It was really scary yesterday morning because Ginger was missing for a long time after the hawk tried to get them. We searched the yard 6 times over and thought she was gone. She finally came out of hiding looking pretty shook up. 🧵1 of 3

Candle scents are blends of my own. Abundance is oakmoss, tobacco, amber, and vanilla. Benevolence is mostly vetiver and frankincense, with subtle secrets. Prosperity is my take on cashmere. Midwinter is mostly mistletoe and frankincense. Yuletide is a blend of fruits and spices of the season.

Not to math shame anyone, but I just had to explain in one of my candle making groups that 0.8oz and 8oz are not the same amount. This person didn’t know what a decimal point meant. I had to explain that 0.8 is one tenth of 8 and it would take 10 portions of 0.8 to equal 8. We need the Dept of Ed!
