I’ve mostly been trying to get back into making art and music after an extended hiatus from it. Got a tablet and have been drawing a bunch. Also spending a lot of time playing guitar and starting to record stuff again.

Love this! I wrote a lot when I was young and could never get back into it as well typing. Recently started testing the waters by handwriting an adventure module on my tablet. Not too far in yet, but it’s such a better experience than typing! I really like the idea of editing while typing it up!

I tend to prefer the shorter range if the scope is limited and 15-20 if it’s more in depth.

If it isn’t obvious, I’m trying to spend the next 4 years pumping all my anxiety and stress into making art and music, so at any rate, I hope y’all like my doodles, because I have a lot of anxiety and stress to work through.

Might try just using a reference pose next time and have a go at making her outfit without a direct reference. Clothes are hard when they aren’t just superhero spandex haha.

I’ve been drawing from reference pics (this one is based on an old pic of catinawitchhat on tumblr). Trying to slowly add or change elements from my references while I get the hang of form and proportions again, until I am (hopefully) back to being able to just draw what’s in my head.
