Had fun last night watching The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart at Esquires (even if the local townsfolk let the side dowm a bit by only half filling the room). We also ate dinner in the same almost-empty pub as the band, just before the gig. A peak night out in Bedford!

Seeing double this morning - seems that I was so determined to secure a copy of @shopfiresmusic.bsky.social's terrific new album on CD that I pre-ordered it in May and then again in July 😆 Artwork looking very lovely indeed and looking forward to having a listen this afternoon.
