New York has passed an amendment to protect access to abortion & ban discrimination of transgender / LGBTQ+ individuals.
Proud to live in this great state, NY will always be the GOAT. There are a lot of things that your state can do for you and protect you from, choose your home state wisely.

As with all things, this too shall pass. Realistically speaking, no damage is can be done without recourse, no change can happen that can’t be change again. The constitution still stands, and even full control of the federal government doesn’t grant dictators like power to the presidency.

This has been a long time coming, the realization that this is not about misinformation, about not knowing, no, this country is filled to the brim with fascist, racist and isn’t just the usual suspects, women, minorities who will actually vote against their own interests.

I want to say that I’m surprised but I’m not. America has made its bed with its eyes open and now it has to lay on it. For all left leaning Americans who didn’t vote, voted for third party or worse, minorities and women who voted for trump, you reap what you sow.

The fact that this election is so close is disturbing to me on many levels, whether Harris wins or not won’t change the fact that so many people voted for a convicted felon who idolized dictators, are against women rights, for religious extremism, it makes you think about who is sitting next to you.
