I totally agree. Also, finding an affordable or public space could be tricky. If public schools could host it, that would be cool.

In my former home in small-town WA, we used to do community clothing swaps. We'd spread the word, and everyone would show up with clothes they didn't want, put them out, and take a few new ones home.

Hello there! I've been reading, but I've been absolutely terrible about updating on Storygraph. Sorry about that! I'm about three quarters of the way through, and it's both so good and so agonizing. The parallel story of Olamina's daughter's abuses is just heartbreaking.
