I would never have thought I'd start collecting 78s. But there's something about them that is unique. The Chaliapin Death of Don Quichotte was the start of this. So many singers with so many stories, many of them sad. And then the unknowns with good voices.

🤔 So is Rigoletto now just an overprotective father who is one of the members of this "club"? Court jesters no longer existed in Victorian times. Is he a comedian? No longer a hunchback? How does this production deal with that? Interested to know.
