I used to hate Mondays because they signaled the conclusion of the weekend and relaxation…family time. Now I hate them because they represent another week of the seemingly endless shit show our nation has become. It’s as if, “Well, at least it can’t get any worse,” has become a dare.

I honestly am afraid to check the news as we ease into evening. Every. Single. Day. I know that it only gets worse and worse. And I am done being friends with people who support this machine as it grinds through our government extinguishing everything in its path.
