I don't usually post shopping hauls like this, but today is particularly exciting! Just received my biggest single order from Metal Designz as I prepare enough inventory to do craft shows, and the colors and ring quality are just astounding 😍

I pondered for *years* on what pattern or fractal would be worthy of engraving permanently on my old MacBook.

Then I remembered it's not a tattoo or anything remotely serious, so I had fun with it and used album art from my favorite band!

#3DPrinting tip: is your #Ender3 squeezing flexible filament out the side of the extruder head? You can drill out the filament guide and add a short length of Bowden tube as a shroud, then carve the tip very close to the gears for a gapless filament path!

I recently saw some amazing relief art made with laser-cut plywood, and embarked on an experiment with craft store paper (which fits in my more modestly sized cutter), and the results are fantastic!

I've since tripled my available colors and am working on some fun pride-themed pieces. ☺️🏳️‍🌈
