The 'carbon equation' being used to account for carbon capture by natural systems (i.e. oceans, forests) is wrong and the projected path to net zero may be off by as much as 0.5 degrees C. because countries are double counting.

What’s going to happen when the wet bulb temperature exceeds 95 degrees Fahrenheit (humans can’t survive more that 6 hours). It looks like certain places on earth are rapidly heading there.

Unfortunately COP 29 has become a forum (at least in part) for fossil fuel companies and nations to exert their influence. They should all be relegated to secondary status if they are allowed to attend at all.

Most architecture and engineering firms aren't using climate projections when designing new buildings. If climate projections aren't being considered in new building and code designs, new buildings will become functionally obsolete.
