I just found out deficits are held in bonds, primarily by the wealthy. They get that money back, plus interest. So deficit spending is a wealth transfer mechanism from taxpayers to the wealthy.
The 3 trillion in deficit from the big ugly bill will net another $700B in interest on top of the tax cut.
