For whatever reason I decided I wanted all of it on paper. Was it a good choice?
It surely gave the project unnecessarily big files and I feel pretty conscious about my handwriting and spelling mistakes.

This was made during a different one, but I don't get to drop it very often: larsum.com/timeyd/

Enjoyed those yesterday.

Tutorial!
Surprisingly the concept of it getting easier as you progress makes it quite fiddly at the start.
October 23, 2025 at 7:52 AM
Yeah, it's more focus on concept than playability. Basically a case of touch the screen left, right, up or down and spot the accordingly moving dot. Once you've collected 5 of the yellows it'll zoom in. So you might get to the zoom randomly.
But bigger screen and arrow keys are more comfortable.

Looking through the files archive I remembered that I quite enjoy making games (in lack of a better word, they don't really deserve the name) based on Tim Key poems.
So I threw together another quick one today.

Nowhere near my street really.
But this is my phone lock screen.

Yeah, they better.

I'm happy with the title screen. It's the film logo, but if it was a goose. As @vixleyton.bsky.social wished.

Making the actual super simple game took about 40 minutes, including drawing the sprites. The infrastructure around it (title screen, character selection, unnecessary end screen animation) took nearly 2 hours. Priorities!

So today I've
-had brunch with my parents
-put together an IKEA thing
-made something for the prompt 'scratch'
-booked trains to London
-made a video game
-and my right hip was used as a brake by a teenager on a bicycle
Nearly enjoyed all of that.

There we are. Not much more growth in length after it started blooming. But is really didn't need that. It was already spooky and obviously on its way to strangle me in my sleep.

Here's a trailer. With no sound just like the game. Cause music is for the weak.
Also, like all good trailers, it doesn't leave you loads of surprises to discover while you're actually playing.

Another shitty game! A handful of them really.
We did a little arts competition with a couple of mates. The prompt was 'heat'. So I did the reasonable thing and asked the marvellous @peteheat.bsky.social if there's a trick of his he'd like to see a video game adaptation of.
