Moving in a few weeks, this scaling down the homelab. I've been an avid adguard user for years now, but I've moved to NextDNS. Mainly to alleviate some maintenance, but also to test if it works for me. My wife hasn't noticed anything, and we're now doing all DNS encrypted.

If you have to ask, you should not fiddle with electricity. My standard reply to people asking for advice on installing permanent electrical equipment, and it's a hill I'm willing to die on. #PSA #safety #eletrical

Over the last 5 days I've been testing the RAK wireless wismesh mini repeater. Not connected to external power, only using the solar. It hasn't been a particularly sunny week, and yet it hasn't dipped under 90 percent battery. #meshtastic #rakwireless

For those who heat their house with a fireplace. These rolls of rolled up newspapers dipped in melted candles are amazing for starting a fire, and they are resistant to moisture. Often made at work-for-all programs.
