As a huge Barks fan since toddlerhood, I love this. If you watch the trailer for Disney’s Duck Tales (the 2017 one with David Tennant), you’ll see a brief homage to Barks at :27 — an exact copy of The Flying Dutchman splash panel from Uncle Scrooge #25

Reminds me of the U.S. showman P.T. Barnum, whose American Museum in New York attracted huge crowds in the mid-19th c. To keep the public from lingering too long, he put up “This Way to the Egress” signs. Those who thought they were going to a new exhibit found themselves outside instead.

These little kits are so lucky to have you as their foster mom. It’s so tricky to bring a new cat into your house and try to overcome its natural fear of change. Our Aaliyah is still adjusting, but we have made progress — it helped we learned she’s deaf and can’t hear our encouragement. 😔

Breaking this tissue box down for recycling I found this message. IDK what's more interesting, that someone felt it necessary to make it absolutely clear where to put the glue — or that they did so in English, on a product made in China.

We adopted this Senior citizen over a year ago. She was fearful and feisty and had to be kept away from the other kitties. Much later we found out the reason: she’s deaf. Slowly she’s gone from her room to the rest of the house, and though she still howls at other cats she’s become our purr buddy.
