For months I've been recreating the Nautilus Vulcania map. Going from a scan from the Maps of the Disney Parks book, a lot of 100 MP photos I've taken and hours in Photoshop and Illustrator I'm happy to share it with all of you!

The gnarly burlwood posts that Walt Disney purchased on a trip to Colorado (?) and installed in front of the Shooting Gallery have long been replaced by fiberglass replicas, but what about the one inside the Trading Post? Looks real to me! Somehow I’ve overlooked this artifact all these years!

Enter Kathy Westphal, een pas afgestudeerde voedingstechnologe van 24 die op dat moment werkte bij Dole. Zij bedacht een recept op basis van ananaspuree, die in poedervorm ongekoeld bewaard kon worden, waar dan enkel nog ijs aan moest worden toegevoegd om er een Dole Whip van te maken. 6/14

Visited the Musée des Arts Forains today, a unique museum of fairgrounds nestled within the Pavillons de Bercy in Paris. The former wine warehouses are now brimming with charm, spectacle, and a surprising wealth of Belgian heritage. An experience I won’t soon forget.
