In a "conversation" I had with ChatGPT today, it claimed that Charlie Kirk wasn't dead because he was still posting content. It said that his death appeared to be a conspiracy theory. I insisted that it was wrong, and it eventually admitted the error. Still thought-provoking.

Online smear campaigns kind of fascinate me. Whether against people or products. I see a lot of hate towards the new Disney live-action movie. I wonder if a lot of people really, truly care deeply about that movie? Or if this whole thing is orchestrated by someone pushing it with algorithmic power?

For Christians, one of the main things we should be talking about is how Christianity has been hijacked. Powerful people pretend to be Christians and have Christian ethics when they don't know what compassion is. They explicitly denounce empathy.

"Faith can never be compromised!" some Christian believers tend to say. But I'm thinking that compromises is actually a great way to live a lot of the time. We don't always get ALL things our way. We should negotiate and build bridges. Let's talk more about making good compromises in our churches.

For Scandinavians, following American politics in recent years has been much like "entertainment". It gave rise to all kind of feelings. We cared as fellow westerners and close allies. But this time is different. Now the madness has actual consequences for us in ways Trump's first presidency didn't.

Fact about me. When we've put our children to sleep and tidied up a bit, some nights I like to kick back and play video games. Currently, it's mostly #ZeldaBotW. But then I gave #NierAutomata a try. It was somewhat fun, but then I died half an hour into the game. And it doesn't SAVE progress. What?!

I'm not American. When I heard that the American government wanted to shut down USAID, I wondered what that was and tried to google and look into it. First reaction: Impressed it exists! Second: Horrified that anyone would be so cynical to just end it. Thousands will probably die because of that.

No one should really be saying "America first" unless they at least were willing to consider serving the rest of the world next. Usually, "America first" actually means "Only (the super rich in) America, fuck everyone else."

I couldn't work today because I was home with my sick child. Same thing yesterday. She's OK, by the way, it was just a common bug. But I am so grateful for living in a country🇳🇴 that allows me to take a few days of for this kind of thing. So incredibly lucky. 🙏

I'm a pastor and I often teach and preach about the Bible. I often look for art portraying Biblical characters. Like, pictures. It's interesting how most artists have made the apostles look very, very old. The Paul in "Acts of the Apostles" looks like he is in his seventies. I wonder why this is?
