No, just a gentle check (every driver is on their phone) on the alternative facts. However, I do feel safer cycling near seniors than those parents taking their kids to school, running late, and flying by in their mammoth SUVs all while drinking their (Venti) PSL. 🤭

I cycle 3/4 x a wk, last 15 years. Rarely do I see seniors texting or using their phones. However, I do see younger drivers darting in & out of traffic, watching videos and not pulling over to the right when an emergency vehicle is approaching. This is why I cycle early at sunrise. Drivers Ed?

So sad, the streets are a dangerous place for us cyclist. However, sloppy drivers come in all ages. I have found over the years that the younger driver on their phone is much more of a concern/danger than a senior when I'm out doing my hill sprint workouts.
