The fucking garage caught fire and we lost over 1/4th of the @meyersden.bsky.social product and a LOT of the supplies. There is a lot of damnage. We maybe able to make it to the shows. Bags are saved? a lot of the hats are saved.. but need 6 months of cleaning. Larry is on hold..

I am decently disabled and every day is pain. I can't walk far, I use a walker. I have hEDS, badly. But I am doing it guys, I just painted this for the show this weekend. I am doing it again

And as I left to where Daddo lives .. the other Gecko hatched.. Say hellow to Guilded.. the little baby has been let go already, but did hatch saftly the day after I left.. thank you @grumpyolddm.bsky.social for checkin into the incubator. Good luck to the baby we just where giving a life boost!

update on Larry's tail amputation ( loosing part of his butt)
Seems we got it at the right spot, if it keeps going up his tail he will have to loose the majority of his tail. This is why you should never let your breadie go in a desert you THINK it will survive in. Stoopid hoomans..

Well it finally had to be done, Larry had part of his tail amputated and may have to have more of it cut off. It upsets me to no end how someone allowed him to run free and have his tail so badly injured that over time he lost circulation. I hope he doesn't have to loose more of it. Send good vibes.

Husbandy has a Costco card, but I am disabled and cannot lift anything when in there and find the shelves .. I donno it messes my autism up. BUT I will have him get them from there when he does the monthly TP/Paper towel run. Thanks for the idea! He looks like Atlas coming home with BRICKS of TP lol

A bone in my foot dislocated in the 2nd little toe where it connects to the bend of my foot near the shin and ankle. NOT sub locate, but DISLOCATE. This is not the first time and almost forgot how much it fucking hurts. Thank you @grumpyolddm.bsky.social for helping me pop it back in.

I cannot actually sew the large hats.. yet, but the feather work alone takes so long that I don't know if I will ever fully learn how to do the patterns. We are making pattern books. It is so.. much.. work. And I live half the country away from him so we get together every three months to sew..

my daddo is the one the sews the large hats, my mom was a dress maker and super tall like you, so am I. She made a lot of my dresses. Daddo is also a Taylor but specializes in haberdashery. I make the courtier hats, feather work, bands, clean up, hand pant. LOOK at his REDICULAS HAT..(intentionally)

I make hats and hat accessories for the ren and pirate fairs. You are not joking. The booth that was selling the pressed felt hats with glued crud on it doesn't make big bucks, cause the right groups know what craftmanship is at least. It costs us a pretty penny, and the TIME. omg the TIME

LARRY TAX.. he is driving me up a wall today.. I really hate spring and fall.. going into season and out of season means I have to have someone baby sit him in order to get any work done.. thankfully he behaved at the babysitters..(my husbands chest)
