We had friends' 16-year old son stay with us for a month one summer. He would eat everything we gave him at dinner, plus stuff we were planning for leftovers, and then order himself a pizza an hour later. I have vague memories of being able to do this too, but it is really astounding.

stratospheric IDP collections include 10s of micron crystalline silicate grains that are probably chondrule fragments, but they are relatively minor component (I think). Dunno about larger meteors
