Progressive curmudgeon. Resist the creeping fascism of the radical right. Protect those who save us. Kindness matters. USN during Yom Kippur War.
Word is that Ghislaine Maxwell will be released from her light prison duty in time for the dedication of the White House's new Epstein Wing. She will begin interviews and staffing immediately afterward.

The underground "bunkers" are something powerful Republicans avidly anticipate.

The difference between a school shooter and ICE?

The school shooter doesn't wear a mask.

The difference, to a child?

None.

In Idaho, these kids found their parents after being terrorized by ICE. They were the lucky ones. "I didn't get caught," says one.

When human beings become just another mailbox to a Republican sympathizer.

Imagine what they do in school zones.

This person was approved by the Republicans in the Senate to help lead the country.

Let me repeat that.

The Republican Party endorsed, supported, and voted to place her in charge of one of our most important and volatile government functions.

Republicans rule our safety.

Revolution Wind and Ørsted have $Billions at stake. Ørsted is said to be reviewing its options.

If on the sea floor they found a kilo of refined gold and, kneeling, placed it for him on the Resolution desktop, I'll bet the GOP's president would suddenly become the world's most ardent fan of wind.

In 2010 pre-redhats stood outside Democratic town meetings armed and armored. Stood there with assault rifles "for protection".

It's time for the left wing to present the same heavily armed un-threat to every redhat gathering.

To protect them from secret police kidnapping crime, of course.

This picture shows the early stage of the Republican project because only men are depicted. The women are left behind. They do not vote and are easily controlled by the Party.

In later stages, the gulag's workers will demand comfort women. The mix of the condemned will shift.

GOP. MAGA.

The Republican party here makes its case crystal clear, free of the years of lies and deceit.

This is all you know, and all you need to know.

Trump and his Doggies are set to sell off federal properties. Among them are Zion National Park, the Supreme Court building and Arlington National Cemetery, which he says is "hugely overrated" and home to "slackers". Also the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. "Nobody knows who lives there."

Bad times coming. Current Atlanta Fed GDP forecast for Q1.
March 31, 2025 at 8:30 AM
Atlanta Fed's GDPNOW estimate for 1Q took another nosedive on the 28th. Now sitting at -2.8%.

This must make MAGA champaign-sipping proud indeed.

Market declines and collapses are a predictable result of GOP government. But in their haste the new Doggie hacker children are getting an early start.

I'm frankly surprised that financial markets didn't crumble the day after the election. A grim global outcome is the best we can hope for.

The Republican Party together with its oligarchs and hacker-Doggie gangs is deeply in love with two of these. FELON called the third a "dictator".

Keep in mind the BFF with whom he just normalized relations. FELON was hired to remove Putin's sanctions, so that will happen soon.

I see this posted in denial of a "mandate". In truth, though, it means that 36.33% of the voting public cast in absence for "the winner, whomever he or she (or it) may be".

That brings the shadow of victory well into the mandate realm.

A full 2/3 voted the death of the Republic.

In 2001, Republicans were incensed to hear the Arab and Persian world gloat and toast the destruction of the World Trade Center.

Today Republicans raised a glass to the burning of fellow Americans.

It marks them among the most evil humans imaginable.

Some very wealthy people wanting lower taxes are already reaping rewards from their GOP vote.TFG (the felon guy) hasn't even formally received the keys but Wasserman will get his wish: his property taxes will go way down.

Wonder if he had any luck finding a boutique fire crew.

Just another Tesla event? If you hear immediate calls for Congressional action against "terror", consider that this deeply symbolic act would be intended to move the US closer to an intensified police state. Because no such call followed the 2018 Mandalay Bay massacre or any school shooting.

As the GOP gears up to violate a number of Amendments as well as core provisions, I'm reminded that the GOP House under Boehner performed a delicate reading of the Constitution. (They omitted and glossed some of the more offensive content.)

Now their main criminal is the one found guilty by jury.

When the proletariat stops being polite, the oligarchs hire private armies and suspend posse comitatus.

In 1914 the oligarchs used national guard on a railroad flatbed to machine-gun a tent colony in Ludlow, CO. 21 dead.

The subsequent range war killed more than 100.
