That’s not true, Senator. The boat was destroyed and 7 men were blown to bits in the process, so no one was standing on its overturned hull — which was nothing but minuscule splinters at that point. When the video is released (and it will be), it’ll show the 2 survivors were barely treading water.

You nailed it. Frankly, it’s one thing that the Trump Administration is too inept to lie credibly. And it’s yet another thing that the media’s ineptitude is even worse for its inability to ask logical follow-ups.

If the boat was blown up by a missile strike, then what were the 2 guys standing on? The other guys in the boat were blown up. So, how is it that the boat merely flipped but that most of its passengers in it were blown to bits?

By the way, IF they were using a radio, it would’ve been a call for help since they were treading water without a boat & without life preservers (after their friends were blown to bits). But sure, let’s say they were making a radio call thinking well we’re gonna die, but let’s save the cocaine!
