Hi from Camp Hill (your sister was a classmate of mine and my sister was at Yale when you were up there) Yesterday was a very good day in the borough as well as in EP, New Cumberland, Hampden Twp and throughout the county.

Great news!

Quietly, Democrats had a very good night in Cumberland County (western suburbs of Harrisburg). Some county elections went blue for the first time and numerous township supervisor/borough councils flipped and some critical de-wacko-ing of school boards occurred.

Not sure why so many data reporters get so tunnel visioned by individual polls and reach for confirmation bias. Still looking for the US version of The Numbers with Éric Grenier and Philippe J. Fournier. Measured analysis that looks at trends/poll consensus/acknowledges polls are not infallible.

Kai, I think you are swell, but I think we both know they will once again fail to answer the call.

Harry Enten is a clown. He just yells thoughts and cheers on the horse race. He doesn’t analyze the data and is not worth people’s time.

I like how their response to anything that Trump says is that it is a joke, yet when people they oppose make are very clearly making a joke, they suddenly get so serious.

My prediction is that he chooses to not run for re-election, claims it’s for some self-aggrandizing reason. But he is extremely grifty, so he will go on to make big bucks from anyone willing to throw money at him.

I always forget NH’s governor serves 2-year terms. Just bonkers. Would be nice for the D’s to gain back some ground in the NH statehouse.

Thanks for sharing. So the government's view is saying that (which is essentially what R's said for 4 years: "Let's go Brandon") means that Border Patrol should chase you? Yikes. Things are going great.

My 2 cents… change kickoffs to a standard punt. Instead of on-side kicks, the “kicking” team has 1 play to advance the ball 10 yards.

It is literally not.

It is not very long ago that the same would have been said about a Republican winning a Senate seat in Arkansas.

Remember when people were up in arms about Paul Wellstone’s funeral… this makes that seem pretty quaint

They didn't need her vote. It is the same dance Susan Collins does. Gives her vote when it is needed and casts dissenting votes that she can highlight back home.

Thank you, Jamelle, for articulating these points so clearly. Much needed.

I guess I never realized that what appeared to be a poorly drawn Michael Landon next to a barrel was so central to the core identity of the restaurant.
