I just saw that Canada is still hitting well above its weight class. Projected 9th highest GDP in the world for 2025, but, even more impressive is 4th highest GDP per capita.

It’s Groundhog Day, so how does this work? If he/she sees their shadow, we’re in for 6 more weeks of winter but if they don’t see their shadow, then spring is only a month and a half away?

Home heating oil in NS is $1.50/litre. Over the next 4 years, I expect the price to escalate. Low to moderate income households that still heat mainly with oil can change to Cold Climate heat pumps, at potentially no cost. www.efficiencyns.ca/programs-reb...

45 minutes more daylight than we had at Solstice. Here in Upper Canard, sunrise is at 07:45 and the sun sets at 17:15.

Getting Free From Oil, over the past 4 years we’ve cut our fossil fuel consumption by 85%. 1st was the Jeep 4xe, then Cold Climate heat pumps to replace the oil boiler, spray foamed our 170 year old basement, then early this year, a Tesla. Literally saving $000 each year.
