#Sodorgust Day 7 - Post

Despite some previous doubts, it seems Gordon actually enjoys the post train!

Valid point, but Spielberg's WOTW film has no HMS Thunderchild, and is not set in the 1890s, so I apologue but this movie is GARBAGE

This is what I'd call, a stone cold atrocity /j

11. Rebecca (The NWR's 22) is 249 Squadron. She was withdrawn like her IRL counterpart in 1964, and stuffed back in Barry Scrapyard. She was scared to her frames here, more so when bits of her shrouding started to fall off! Barry himself wasn't there to comfort her, leading to her anxiety growing. -

Found this in a box my grandparents gave to me. And can I just say... what the fuck.

Gordon was gobsmacked to put it frankly, with Duck bringing back Gordon’s own incident with a dome in the 50s, making the Express Engine extremely embarrassed

10. When Emily (Numbered 12) finally returned to service, Gordon was elated to hear of a GNR Express Derivative under Operation on Sodor! It was only when Emily came to Tidmouth sheds that night that Gordon found out Emily was domeless…

9. Conquest (Sodor 1955's Garratt Design) isn't that very smart of a Garratt. Every engine unit on them is alive, but every one of them are not smart. They can't move unless they all agree (which is rare). It's made weirder considering he has the same voice on every engine unit.

8. The NWR's number 14 is a GNR J23 named 'Christopher'. Christopher is one of the NWR's Tank Engines that is able to say big words, and understand how to utilise them. This has made him a menace to those who travel to Tidmouth, where he pilots the Station and Yards.

Although the rivalry was obnoxious at times, it did bring in engines that were seen as natural Sodor residents. Those among them being Mia, an LMS Crab. Jinty, a Fowler 3F. Pug, a Kitson 0F. And Geoffrey, a L&R Dreadnought 4-6-4T.

6. The LMS had a larger presence on Sodor, operating the line to Norramby, and Kirk Ronan Branchline via Crovan's Gate, with running rights to Brendam as well. With the LNER not far away, many NWR Engines found the rivalry between LMS and LNER bleeding into their relatively calm island life.

5. Thomas isn't too fond of people nit-picking the modern TV Series carrying his name. As far as he's concerned, he doesn't care about it. However he was distant friends with Britt Alcroft and David Mitton, and gave some insight to the early seasons' stories.

4. Barry is the NWR's number 13 (Emily being 12), and contrary to other fan interpretations, Barry is actually a rather optimistic engine, who always tries to find a bright side to any situation. When he arrived on Sodor from Barry Island, he was surprised when everyone lauded him with praise for-

3. This was inspired by TTOS, but Gordon didn't actually intend to drag Thomas along with his Express... on the day it actually happened, he was just so furios at Thomas for making fun at him, that he didn't even realise he was dragging the blue tank engine until Crovan's Gate!

2. There is a Joint Railway that connects to the NWR via Barrow, it is known as the Westmorland, Cumbria & Yorkshire Joint Railway, owned in part by the FR, LNWR, NER and NBR. The railway’s locomotives don’t usually get on well with those on Sodor, but they still utilises steam engines like the NWR.

1. Henry didn't actually stop in the Tunnel because he was scared of rain, he really stalled out after a problem with steaming, and didn't want to admit he stalled, so made up the 'scared of rain' story.

I did this on my old (now deleted) Twitter account a while ago, I wanna take another crack at it now! Might be infrequent but I'm in a mood.
