Every military person who is fighting the US should have someone talk and write to them. They need to hear repeatedly they are being lied to and what they are doing is wrong. Even if they don't want to hear, they need to know that they are cooperating with evil and they have the power to stop it.

Where are the parents of the National Guard troops and ICE agents? They, too, were once children and young adults and our neighbors. The National Guard even still live in the communities where they are born. Where are their brothers and sisters and cousins and aunts and uncles?

Cheri Jacobus writing on Daily Kos just suggested that Pete Buttigieg should have a daily briefing on Capitol Hill. Basically he would be the Democratic Press Sec'y. Among other things it would get accurate news out about who has been fired and why.

Trump reminds me of some uncles I had. They had the same kind of false bravery as Trump. "By gahd, if I wus prezident, I would take care uf those damn Gays, Blacks, Indians, Jews, Mexicans, Poor People, Commies, etc" Except everyone knew they were decrepit old men and no one took them seriously.

I am confused. Why do organizations that are charitable, politically opposed to the current oligarchy, and similar organizations continue to use Facebook (Meta) and X (Twitter)? Meta and X are not public utilities, but are run by the very billionaires who are destroying our country.

AI, according to the experts, will require enormous amounts of money and other resources. In fact, we are refining AI every day with every interaction we have with an AI that answers the phone or responds to a question. Development of AI is happening right under our noses.

We have minimum wage laws. Among other things, they help to stabilize the economy. We also need maximum wage laws. Anyone who controls more than a billion dollars acts like a black hole and destabilizes the economy and politics.

Trump has talked about Canada joining the US as the 51st state. If Canada in a fit of national insanity decided to do that, they would become states 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, and possibly more.

I just heard someone of little brain talk about going to Marred Lago to talk with Trump about Canada joining the US in a trading block with easy access to each other's businesses. He obviously has not heard of NAFTA. Oh, wait he supported Trump...

I was raised to believe that someone who says himself is a genius, a hero, strong, or brave is simply spewing hot air. (Trump, Musk, etc) Meanwhile, geniuses, heroes, the strong, & the brave simply do what is important to do. (Unlike Trump, Musk, etc)

The Bald Eagle is an appropriate national symbol. It has the largest nest, and supplements its own hunting with theft from ospreys and other animals, waste from fish processing plants and from individual fishers, and carrion.

He thinks he will be able to continue forever, like everyone else but finds he can't take it with him, and all he has left behind is destruction, and hate. And to all honest historians, he will still look like a clown, possibly one who destroyed our nation.
