4. I wrote a book! It was an honest TRIAL to get it off the ground while teaching full time, but I made it a priority. The Iron Horse in Indian Country: Native Americans and Railroads in the US West is out this spring with Oxford University Press! More here: global.oup.com/academic/pro...

3. My research and teaching align when it comes to the role of AI in education. I am reading a lot about this (send suggestions!) and am bringing AI into my classrooms more and more.

2. In 2019, I turned down a tt-job, and in 2021, I made the move to K-12 education. I teach American Studies, Human Rights, and Women in History to upperclass students. They give me a lot of hope these days.
