I’ve noticed this too. Decentralized policing by all of us (blocking bots, etc) can help. Another tip-off is photos with lots of skin or a hodgepodge of accounts the bot follows.
Bluesky has been flooded with automated reply bots - they'll offer a sort of confrontational opinion as a reply. They're pretty convincing and we all need to train ourselves to not reflexively reply to all responses until we check

Our Big Cat, Ted, died in our arms last night. He was 10 years old. Not young, but not old either. He had a mass in his chest that was making it impossible to breathe.
I don’t know if he died peacefully, but he died while his family held him. We should all be so lucky.
