Bees Were Better by NAOMI SHIHAB NYE In college, people were always breaking up. We broke up in parking lots, beside fountains. Two people broke up across a table from me at the library. I could not sit at that table again though I did not know them. I studied bees, who were able to convey messages through dancing and could find their ways home to their hives even if someone put up a blockade of sheets and boards and wire. Bees had radar in their wings and brains that humans could barely understand. I wrote a paper proclaiming their brilliance and superiority and revised it at a small cafe featuring wooden hive-shaped honey-dippers in silver honeypots at every table.

It's weird if a company hires you through email only, no video or phone calls, and puts this in their "pre-offer" letter, right? Probably a scam? The "we'll send you a check" is what makes me pretty sure it's not real.
We will engage in virtual communication with you for the initial five days of your employment. After this period, we will give you access to our company server, as well as the contact phone numbers of various departments. We will provide you with a username and password. Additionally, we will provide you with all the necessary forms to complete. Before commencing your training and work, you will receive a check to purchase the office equipment and software that are necessary. On the first day of your training, there will be a Zoom meeting with the company's CEO, senior officials, and other team members with whom you will collaborate. We will maintain communication with you through digital channels until you have completed five days of employment with us. We will then provide you with a username and password, internet access to the company server, a list of contact phone numbers for various departments, and all necessary forms to complete.

@iamragesparkle | was at a shitty crustpunk bar once getting an after- work beer. One of those shitholes where the bartenders clearly hate you. So the bartender and | were ignoring one another when someone sits next to me and he immediately says, "no. get out." And the dude next to me says, "hey i'm not doing anything, i'm a paying customer." and the bartender reaches under the counter for a bat or something and says, "out. now." and the dude leaves, kind of yelling. And he was dressed in a punk uniform, I noticed Anyway, I asked what that was about and the bartender was like, "you didn't see his vest but it was all nazi shit. Iron crosses and stuff. You get to recognize them." And i was like, ohok and he continues. "you have to nip it in the bud immediately. These guys come in and it's always a nice, polite one. And you serve them because you don't want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too. And then THEY bring friends and the friends bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh shit, this is a Nazi bar now. And it's too late because they're entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down. And i was like, 'oh damn.' and he said "yeah, you have to ignore their reasonable arguments because their end goal is to be terrible, awful people." And then he went back to ignoring me. But I haven't forgotten that at all.

She brought her church into the World of politics in a very ungracious way. She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart. She failed to mention the large number of illegal migrants that came into our Country and Killed people. Many were deposited from jails and mental institutions. It is a giant crime wave that is taking place in the USA. Apart from her inappropriate statements, the service was a very boring and uninspiring one. She is not very good at her job!
