Done except for the roses which use the one stitch type I struggle mightily with. I want to practice it more before potentially chewing up the fabric on a real piece I care about.

Picking up embroidery as a hobby. It’s surprisingly calming and nice to do while watching a stream or something. Plus, its nice to just MAKE something concrete with your hands. I work all day in a very abstract role so creativity holds import!

Recently went on a new medication for my depression that has made a night and day difference in my mood and outlook. I had been so defeated for so long I had forgotten that I could enjoy things. I was sleepwalking through life. I am not cured, if such a thing is possible, but now I can savor things

It’s a very difficult and shameful time to be an American. My heart aches all the time seeing what goes down every day. I worry about my friends, my family, my coworkers…are we going to be ok? I’m not ok now as is.
